Today in Greenwich Village I stumbled upon a little "french style cafe" entitled Sweet Revenge. Located at 62 Carmine Street, it is owned by Marlo Scott and is described as "cute and quaint and an internationally inspired breakfast, cupcake and wine bar." While literally on a walk its charming store front intrigued me.

Today in Greenwich Village I stumbled upon a little "french style cafe" entitled Sweet Revenge. Located at 62 Carmine Street, it is owned by Marlo Scott and is described as "cute and quaint and an internationally inspired breakfast, cupcake and wine bar." While literally on a walk its charming store front intrigued me.
I stepped inside for a cup of coffee and found the place to be decorated with four bistro tables and a semi-industrial bar, and not one patron in the joint. While sipping my coffee and chatting with the lovely barista (and fellow Harlemite) Nicole, that they are known for their Red Velvet Waffles, Crimson & Cream Cupcakes and Raspberry Bellini.
